There's going to be a new mode of transportation in San Francisco soon, and it's zero-emission and impossible to miss
announced that they would partner up to provide Arcimoto's all-electric Fun Utility Vehicles for people to use as they go sightseeing in the city. Forty of the FUVs will be set up with GoCar Tours' GPS-based guided tours that can,"give directions, crack jokes, recommend restaurants, and tell the legendary stories that bring San Francisco to life," the companies said in a release.
"We plan to work cooperatively co-promote GoCars Arcimoto rentals, in order to connect the Arcimoto mission with San Franciscans and visitors alike," Frohnmayer said."And, of course what sells the FUV more than anything is the experience of driving it. We're confident that after a GoCar tour in an Arcimoto, riders will return home with a list of reasons why the Arcimoto will be a good fit for their driveways.
The current GoCar sightseeing route is under 30 miles, which means the FUV's 100-mile-range is more than enough. Frohnmayer said that GoCars is going to look for new routes and experiences that go beyond the current tour, including crossing the Golden Gate Bridge to see the Sausalito, Tiburon, and the Marin Headlands.
