With three tough games to end the regular season coach Bobby Hurley's team is on the wrong side of the NCAA bubble.The game was in drastic contrast to the one the two played on Dec. 31 in Tempe. In that one the wildcats led by 17 at the half. While ASU got within points six minutes into the second half, it eventually lost by nine, 69-60.
This time ASU actually led at the half 46-45. However, with 6:30 to play, the Sun Devils were down 10. Desmond Cambridge led ASU with 19 points. Also in double-digits were DJ Horne , Warren Washington , Jamiya Neal , and Alonzo Gaffney . Devan Cambridge and Gaffney both fouled out of the game.
