Ursula Shaniece Graham, who was a Pulaski County Sheriff's deputy, was identified Sunday, Oct. 15 as the latest victim of a homicide that occurred at a North Little Rock apartment complex which has seen several killings over recent months. According to police, the body of Ursula Graham of Jacksonville was found inside of a vehicle at the Hemlock Courts Housing Project during the evening of Friday, Oct. 13.
Visible trauma was observed to the body," police said in a news release. "The nature of the trauma is not being released at this time due to it being a detail of the investigation. There was no word on what led to Graham's death or a description of a suspect, though authorities said more details would be released later.
Shortly before discovering her body Friday night, the sheriff's office put out a missing persons alert for Graham after deputies responded to a Jacksonville apartment for a welfare check when she didn't show up for work. She had last been seen around 8 p.m. local time Thursday. "The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office family is heartbroken about the tragic loss of Ursula Graham, a valued member of our Detention staff since February of this year," the sheriff's office wrote in a statement. "Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and our agency during this tragic time."at the apartments in May. Javion Green, also 16, is being charged as an adult with one count of capital. Another teenager, 17-year-old Denerick Donaldson Jr.
