The alleged shooter, Abbas Al-Mutairy, 25, was seriously injured after Arlington police officers shot him in the parking lot of Vandergriff Honda, near Interstate 20, on Sept. 28. Al-Mutairy was the only person injured in the shooting, Arlington police Chief Al Jones said at a news conference Monday afternoon.Al-Mutairy, who had recently been fired from his job at the dealership, pulled into the parking lot and opened fire toward the lobby with a rifle shortly before 6:30 p.m.
