A male armed with a gun robbed the Circle K next to the IPromise School in the Highland Square neighborhood, police say.
Police say this male robbed a Circle K in Akron's Highland Square neighborhood Tuesday morning. AKRON, Ohio — Police are searching for a male who used a handgun to rob a Circle K store located next door to the IPromise School in the Highland Square neighborhood.
Officers were called to the Circle K on the corner of West Market Street and Oakdale Avenue at 7 a.m. Tuesday, police say. A clerk tells police a male wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt, black hat and black jeans acted like he was going to make a purchase, but then pulled out a gun and took an undisclosed amount of money.Police say the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information can call detectives at 330-375-2490 or Summit County Crimestoppers at 330-434-COPS.
