Asia markets rise ahead of retail sales data releases from Australia and Japan

In Japan, the Nikkei futures contract in Chicago was at 27,540, while its counterpart in Osaka was at 27,535 against theJapan will release its retail sales data on Tuesday, which is expected come in higher at 4%, according to economists.rose 0.35% ahead of its January retail sales data release. Economists expect retail sales to come in at 1.5% higher compared to December.
