Rubio will build upon today's record by becoming the first American to spend a full year in space.

He's been amazing to work with and Frank is just making a huge sacrifice being away from his family for so long.
Before Frank Rubio, the prior record holders for longest U.S. mission were: Mark Vande Hei at 355 days; Scott Kelly at 340 days; Christina Koch at 328 days; Peggy Whitson at 289 days; and Drew Morgan at 272 days.
