Houston Astros fans watch as players roll by during the World Series Championship parade Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, in Houston.Mayor Sylvester Turner Sunday announced the details about the 2022 World Series Championship Parade celebrating the Astros' win during an afternoon news conference.The starting point will be Smith Street at Preston and the route will travel 1.7 miles down Smith Street to Tuam.
Metro services will be free for all of Monday, said Sanjay Ramabhadran, chair of the Metropolitan Transit Authority. There will also be a special train wrapped Astros logos for the occasion.so students and staff could join in the celebration of the Astros second World Series championship title.
