Astros' Yordan Alvarez removed from game in third inning

Alvarez, who was in the designated hitter spot for the second straight night, grounded out to first base in the first inning but didn't appear injured as he jogged down the baseline. However, when Alvarez's spot was due up in the third inning, Corey Julks was called on to pinch-hit for him.Oblique muscles cover the sides of the abdominal area.

Alvarez leads all of baseball with 55 RBI in 56 games. He's hitting .274 with 17 home runs, including two in this series against the Blue Jays.
