At least one suspect arrested in North Manchester, Indiana, in connection with the hotel shooting that killed Bradley, Illinois, Police Sgt. Marlene Rittmanic, and left Bradley Police Officer Tyler Bailey in critical condition.
Authorities had been searching for two suspects in the shooting — 25-year-old Darius D. Sullivan and 26-year-old Xandria A. Harris. It was not immediately clear who was in custody.Around 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, Rittmanic and Bailey responded to the Comfort Inn hotel at 1500 N. Illinois Highway 50 in Bradley, Illinois, after a call reporting dogs barking in an unattended vehicle in the parking lot.Police said the officers located the vehicle and the possible owner inside a hotel room.
