The theft happened in the 11100 block of Burbank Boulevard at about 12:45 a.m. Tuesday.
Police said a preliminary investigation revealed that the victim entered the business with her dog on a leash. Moments later, two suspects entered the business and allegedly assaulted the woman in an unprovoked attack, using excessive force to remove the dog from her possession.
Detectives described the suspects as a female wearing all-black clothing, with black shoes, along with a man who was wearing a black-and-white sweater, blue jeans, and black shoes.Detectives released surveillance images of the suspects and the dog in hopes of identifying the two suspects.Anyone with information about the suspects, the robbery or the whereabouts of Drake was urged to contact robbery detectives Noah Stone or Chris Phillips of the LAPD’s North Hollywood station at 818-754-8424.
