Three players who have not yet played for Auburn this season warmed up in pads before the game against Samford.

For the second straight week, Pritchett warmed up in pads before going back into the locker room and changing into sweats. He has not played for Auburn this season. In a practice period open to reporters before UMass, Pritchett was seen with a heavily wrapped left ankle. Kaufman was evaluated for a concussion after Auburn’s win over Cal. Auburn has not confirmed the results of those tests, but he will not play against Samford. He came out for warm-ups wearing sweatpants.From Auburn:
