In its first regular meeting in more than a month, the Austin City Council took up resolutions that pave the way for the city to develop more affordable single-family homes and implement wage increases for musicians.
The last regular council meeting was in early June, and the council had a nearly-200-item agenda on Thursday. In that time, the city had significant developments, including the second suspension of its partnership between Austin Police and the Department of Public Services.
