It’s right for so many reasons.
She’s among a storied group of San Antonians who’ve sacrificed for a greater good on behalf of young San Antonians and their futures.Not that she’ll use it that way. Anglo businessmen and the Good Government League used to handpick council candidates, predominantly white men. It forced San Antonio to amend its charter and establish single-member districts. Voters ratified the charter change.
