“I think it’s a fantastic place. It’s a very down-to-earth place. I think it’s a pragmatic place that tries to figure out solutions to problems rather than get wound up politically kissing too many rings. The biggest thing is, you want a guy who really wants to be here and really wants to do it. You want a guy who stays out of your way, who understands the coaches for all the sports are there for a reason and the athletic director’s role is to provide support, not coach.
