The gist of the promotion is that Barbie's away — likely promoting her new movie — so Ken has listed her home on Airbnb. Those interested in the free stay there can request to book the place starting on July 17. Guests who are chosen for the visit would stay overnight either on July 21 or July 22.It's all meant to promote the"Barbie" movie that opens in theaters July 21 and to honor girls' empowerment.
Located on the photogenic California coast, the home is described as a"sunny surfer's sanctuary" and a toy pink mansion come to life. Promotional photos show the home with a pink exterior, pink roof and awnings and, well, pink everywhere they could possibly put it. Right now the home has some of Ken's Western-themed gear, including cowboy boots and cowhides, horses, games and his rollerblades, which you can use in the home's roller rink. Since the home also has an outdoor disco dance floor, you can practice your two-step or learn to line down while gazing at the sunset.
The home's infinity pool has floats that spell out Ken's name, a pink slide and a smattering of pink seating.
