Peter Murphy's health scare prompted his team to postpone the remaining dates for his New York residency at Le Poisson Rouge while he recovers.

Murphy, 62, was rushed to Lenox Hill Hospital Tuesday after experiencing shortness of breath ahead of his scheduled show. He remains hospitalized, as of Wednesday. "All of us at LPR are devastated by this news," the music venue said following the news."Peter’s performance and presence over the past twelve days has been amazing - both onstage and off. We wish Peter a swift and full recovery and look forward to his successful return to LPR."
