BREAKING: Brush fire forces evacuations in Vacaville. Evacuation orders are in place for residents north of Cantelow Road, south of Peaceful Glen Road, east of Dove Creek Trail, and west of Timm Road, officials say.
A brush fire burning in the Pleasanton Ridge area burned Thursday, June 23, at 4549 River Rock Hill Road. About 10-15 acres burned as of 2:40 p.m. and Cal Fire's response includes several air tankers and helicopters.A multi-alarm brush fire was burning Wednesday, June 22, in Winters, which is north of Vacaville. Firefighters say at least 110 acres have burned and it's currently 90% contained.
All residents on Wintu Way and Campos Lane had to evacuate but the orders has since been lifted, the Solano County Office of Emergency Services said.
