The jury also found true that Pastones had engaged in “substantial sexual conduct” while sexually abusing the child and that he had committed lewd acts upon more than one child.
A Solano County Superior Court judge last month sentenced a 44-year-old Vallejo man, found guilty last year of multiple sex assaults against children, to 90 years to life in state prison, The Reporter has learned.
Judge Daniel Healy handed down the sentence for Ulysses Pastones during a hearing in Department 2 in the Justice Building in Vallejo. As previously reported, a jury on Nov. 15 found Pastones guilty of six counts of a lewd act upon a child under the age of 14 and one count of aggravated sexual assault. The jury also found to be true that Pastones engaged in “substantial sexual conduct” with a child and that he had committed lewd acts upon more than one child.Court documents show that over several years, from 2013 to 2017, Pastones victimized a child in Vallejo.
He stopped sexually assaulting the victim around 2017, but then began to molest her younger sister over a lengthy period of time, according to court records.Court records indicate the Solano County DA’s Office filed a criminal complaint against Pastones on Sept. 27, 2019, and he was arrested by Vallejo police officers. He eventually posted $250,000 bail and was released from custody on April 24, 2020.
