Campolindo quarterback Dashiell Weaver is the Bay Area News Group boys high school athlete of the week for Nov. 14-19 after he received 14,359 votes at the 5 p.m. deadline Wednesday.
Pinole Valley football player Larry McDonald finished second and Monte Vista cross-country runner Ethan Miller took third.In an epic North Coast Section Division II semifinal, Weaver, a senior, completed 16 of 21 passes for 339 and two touchdowns and ran for 56 yards and four TDs to lead the second-seeded Cougars to a 42-41 victory over Rancho Cotate.
