San Ramon Valley flag football player Kaitlyn Bray is the Bay Area News Group’s high school girls athlete of the week for Aug. 21-26 after she received 33.04% of the vote at the 5 p.m. deadline Wednesday.
Lynbrook volleyball player Valerie Eng placed second and Mt. Eden volleyball player Maleni Garcia was third.Bray, a senior, was dominant against Campolindo in a 30-0 victory. The quarterback completed nine of 10 passes for 149 passing yards and three touchdowns.
