The glitterati of New York Fashion Week stopped to smell the roses (quite literally) last night at BCBGMAXAZRIA’s 30th Anniversary Party, hosted by Adriana Lima.
, the face of the new “Be Your Own Muse” campaign, the rose-filled soirée was held at a very specific address in midtown Manhattan: 10 West 56th Street, the former home of Elizabeth Taylor. A fan of the late Hollywood actress, Lima sported a svelte BCBG power suit and a geometric cat-eye reminiscent of Taylor’s 1963 role in.
Florist Ivie Joy decorated the six-story townhouse in rosebuds from top to bottom, while BCBG looks from the past 30 years served as the focal point—a touching tribute to designer Max Azria, who passed away in May. The retrospective of Azria’s legacy sprawled from room to room, including a red-drenched fall lineup dubbed “Be Your Own Muse,” with model and mother of two, Lima, as the face.
