The bear caused minor damage to one Cumberland County property, police said.
Lower Allen Township police are asking residents to keep an eye out for a black bear that’s been hanging out around town this week.
The bear was spotted around 10 p.m. Monday near Maple Avenue, police said. Sightings were also reported in yards in the the Bethany Village neighborhood.Anyone who sees the bear is asked to call Lower Allen police at 717-238-9676. Do not feed or approach the animal.
