More than 70 breweries were in attendance on Saturday serving over 200 beers at NTC Park in Liberty Station.
San Diego brewers and beer drinkers gathered to cheers in the new year on Saturday at the San Diego Brew Fest.

“The two owners moved from Chicago to live in San Diego,” added Ty Samifua, sales market manager. “We’re moving back to our core pillars of community.” People like Rosbach and his friends are the reason Dan Silberstein, owner of Drink Eat Play, created the festival: To give beer drinkers a place to enjoy craft beers. Years later, not only has the festival grown but so has San Diego’s beer scene.And the community is still growing. Brewery X, an Anaheim brewing company, recently expanded into San Diego and plans to open a local taproom soon.
