A small group of neo-Nazis shouted at theatergoers and held antisemitic signs during the Tuesday night preview of “Parade,” according to producers of the Broadway musical.
“If there is any remaining doubt out there about the urgency of telling this story in this moment in history, the vileness on display in front of our theater last night should put it to rest,” the producers said in a statement“Parade” tells the story of Leo Frank, a Jewish businessman who managed his family’s Atlanta pencil factory and was convicted of murdering a 13-year-old employee in 1913.
