. The award show will air on BET on Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET/PT, 8 p.m. CT. The show will simulcast on VH1 and MTV2. 21 Savage and Cardi B lead this year’s race earning 12 nods each, followed by Drake with nine nods. Burna Boy and DJ Khaled landed seven nominations, J. Cole landed six; Jay Z, Coi Leray and GloRilla are tied at four nominations each. Other nominees include Lil Uiz Vert, Latto, Kendrick Lamar, Megan Thee Stallion, Metro Boomin, DaBaby and Lil Durk.
The 2023 BET Hip-Hop Awards Cypher will include Bun B, Lola Brooke, Cassidy, Gloss Up, Foggieraw, Lady London, Scar Lip and Symba. DJ Head, Maiya The Don, LaNell Grant and That Mexican OT will be featured in the digital cypher.Marley Marl will receive this year’s I Am Hip-Hop Award.
