The U.S. Department of Treasury said states and local governments can use funds from the $350 billion stimulus package released earlier this year for incentives like cash or lottery programs. The Treasury Department and IRS also announced Thursday that employers can receive a tax credit to reimburse them for any off-time wages paid to employees who get vaccinated or need to take a family member to get vaccinated.a $100 cash incentive that begins Friday for new people that get vaccinated in the city.
