President Biden avoided questions from reporters Friday by falsely announcing a “major press conference.”
Biden then went out to grab lunch at a local taqueria ahead of a one-on-one interview with MSNBC.The president has raised eyebrows two days after congressional Republicans disclosed a bombshell bribery claim against him when he cut off questions by saying he’d answer them later.The president instead spurned the press and took his motorcade out for lunch with Vice President Kamala Harris at Taqueria Habanero in Northeast Washington.
His press staff said Biden ordered a chicken quesadilla and churros, plus an assortment of tacos for aides.
