Young girls across the nation were watching as Kamala Harris took her oath of office on Wednesday, officially becoming the first female, first Black and first South Asian vice president. The groundbreaking moment was celebrated by many families who shared photos of their daughters witnessing history to social media.
“My daughters, watching history, and learning there should be NO LIMIT to what they can do. “Madam Vice Present. We see you,” Adina Davidson wrote in an Instagram post, along with a photo of a young girl carefully watching the new vice president.
