There are a lot of differences we noticed from the original game in the RE_Games ☣️ Resident Evil 4 Remake ☣️ trailer, and you can find all of them detailed here:
Resident Evil 4 Remake was shown off at the recent PlayStation State of Play, and there are several noticeable changes to the classic action/horror title seen from the trailer right out the gate. Many may have expected Resident Evil to take a different approach from the 2005 original game, and it seems that belief was well-founded. Instead, Capcom looks to be bringing this title in line with the recent remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3, closer to its survival horror roots.
Ashley Has Been Redesigned & May Have An Expanded Role In RE 4 Remake Resident Evil 4's Ashley Graham has been given a makeover now modeled after Instagram star Ella Freya, keeping with the new character modeling approach in the Resident Evil 2 remake. No longer sporting the plaid skirt and turtleneck sweater, Ashley is now donning a dark orange/red coat and what looks like tights with boots.
Ada Wong Has Also Been Given An Update In The Resident Evil 4 Remake Ada Wong has also been given the costume redesign treatment, likely to make more sense for the new entry. Ada wears a harness and a thicker red sweater, which seems more appropriate than the silk red dress she sported in high heels in the original title. The designers may have wanted to make Ada less objectified and have the attire she wears make far more sense in a cold and dreary village.
