U.S. billionaire Rocco Commisso on his plans for Italian soccer club Fiorentina:

Commisso is not the only American owner in Italy’s Serie A division. The Elliott Management hedge fund owns AC Milan, and James Pallotta is chairman and co-owner of AS Roma. In the English Premier League, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are owned by Americans., describing the season as a “complete disaster.”
“ mostly passion. I'm not in soccer to make money. I don't want to lose money, but I'm not here as a businessman to make money. I'm here more because it's my way of giving back to the game and to Italy for what the game has meant to me.”
