Knowing only the ultra-skilled could re-create this ensemble, Porter laid out some rules and guidelines on his Instagram to make the challenge, well, even more challenging: “Using items found ONLY in your house, give me your best recreation of my 2019 @themetgalaofficial lewk and post a photo or video on your Instagram ,” Porter wrote in the post’s caption.
While Porter only posted the challenge yesterday, there have already been a few standout submissions to hit the app. User @dressupalways—whose Instagram bio is “playing dress up while self-isolating”—uploaded their interpretation of Porter’s angelic look, posing in front of a giant abstract painting with their own custom-made wings. “We did this under 2hrs from seeing the challenge,” they wrote in their caption. “All stuff we just had around the house.
