Led by experts and senior members of Binance's Law Enforcement Training and Investigations team, we recently conducted a five-day training program in Kyiv that covered several key topics in policing financial cybercrime involving crypto or digital assets. These topics included law enforcement investigations, asset recovery and management, anti-money laundering policies, and crime prevention initiatives.
Kirill Khomyakov, General Manager of Binance in Ukraine and Central Europe, said: “In this difficult time for Ukraine, the country is forced to respond daily to ongoing challenges. We’re committed to standing hand-in-hand with Ukraine’s regulators and law enforcement agencies to protect their financial ecosystem from criminal activity.”

The law is expected to take effect next spring and will allow family members, police, mental health professionals, roommates and former dating partners to petition a judge to remove firearms from those they believe pose an imminent threat to themselves or others. Questions remain whether the state will have better success in enforcing the law than others have after multiple Michigan sheriffs told The Associated Press that they won’t enforce the law if they don’t believe it’s constitutional. The law's passage follows a mass shooting in February at Michigan State University that killed three students.
