When one Smithereens intern, played by Damson Idris, takes his cab to the airport, Christopher diverts his route and kidnaps the young man. Christopher wants to speak to Billy Bauer, the company founder of Smithereens. His agenda isn’t revealed until nearly the end.
Usually, toward the end of the episode comes a second twist, which is either good or bad for the episode’s characters. With this new season, the pattern is not so clear cut. The twists are not so big, and this is perhaps because these stories do not rely on clever-cut twists, but are a little more nuanced.
