The teaser for The Blacklist's upcoming episode 200 reveals that Stacy Keach will once again reprise his role as real-life con man Robert Vesco.
The Blacklist has teased the return of Stacy Keach's Robert Vesco on the milestone 200th episode. The long-running series, which was created by Jon Bokenkamp, originally premiered on NBC in 2013. It stars James Spader as Raymond "Red" Reddington, an ex-agent who is now on the FBI's Most Wanted list who agrees to work with FBI profiler Liz Keen to track down the various criminals on his "blacklist," a long dossier of terrorists, spies, mobsters, and more.

The upcoming episode, which is titled "The Hyena," premieres on NBC on Sunday, March 19 at 8PM. According to the teaser, the plot will follow Red and Vesco teaming up again after their reunion last week, trying to hunt down a hidden fortune before it is found by a dangerous killer.Stacy Keach's Character on The Blacklist Explained Keach has only guest starred in three episodes of The Blacklist before this special appearance on the landmark episode 200.
Keach's first appearance in season 6 revealed that Vesco indeed faked his death and has been in hiding. The character mentored Red and became an important figure in his development into the complicated individual he is. However, his time as a fugitive has shown him the error of his ways in some capacity, so his ability to influence Red has taken on a more complicated tinge as he returned periodically over the years to assist in various adventures.
Given the fact that The Blacklist is ending, it is entirely possible that this will be the last episode that Keach appears in. Especially given that it's the 200th episode, the creators likely wanted to pull out all the stops and have Robert return in style. However, the stakes are high and it remains to be seen if he - or his relationship with Red - will survive beyond this episode.
