Blue Beetle's reviews exceed dire expectations.

After several controversial movies, wasted casting choices, and drastic changes in tone, the DCEU is concluding in order to open the way for a franchise-wide reboot. However, a few DCEU movies still have to release before the change, which puts them in danger of being overlooked.
Many factors convened to make The Flash a box office bomb, including Ezra Miller's controversies, questionable VFX work, and a ballooning budget that simply couldn't meet the movie's earnings. After various poorly received releases such as Wonder Woman 1984, Black Adam, and Shazam: Fury of the Gods, The Flash's disastrous reception continues to cast doubts on whether Warner Bros.' DC brand can recover.
Blue Beetle's limited promotion due to the writers' strike and fiery competition from Barbie and Oppenheimer have also affected Blue Beetle's box office. On the bright side, Blue Beetle's reviews have been quite different from The Flash's, which suggests that word of mouth may help it, if not become a box office success, then at least avoid its predecessor's infamous reception.
