On Aug. 13, a Barr Road resident called police after discovering overnight a fire hydrant in the front of his yard had been struck by a vehicle. The man said there was car debris in his yard. An arriving officer located a blue fender and noted the fire hydrant was hit with enough force to shift it approximately six inches off its base.On Aug. 11, a Long Forest Drive resident came to the police station after discovering her identity was fraudulently used to file unemployment benefits.The woman also reported three soft credit inquiries on her credit report.
