BREAKING: A body has been found in the search area. It is unknown if it is the missing woman.
Authorities have been notified. It is currently unknown if the body found is that of missing Susan Taylor. The body was found roughly 1,600 feet from Taylor's home.
“We want to do a large area search and we’re asking for volunteers to help us out with that,” said Geauga County Sheriff Scott Hildenbrand. “This community has always been very supportive and helpful. And the more people we have, the quicker we can cover that area.” Investigators first responded to the Sidley Road property Friday evening. Taylor's son reported finding no sign of his mother when he arrived there for the weekend, despite finding her car, purse and cell phone there.
“With the cold nights we’ve had out here, low 20s, I’m concerned for her. [It] makes you wonder what happened to her,” Heston said. “You just hope for the best and pray for her. That’s all I can say, that I hope she’s ok.”
