Bond fund manager TCW just revealed it has no Black executives. The number of Hispanic executives at the Los Angeles firm isn't much better.

TCW disclosed its workforce data in a bid to win business with a public investor.

Los Angeles bond fund manager TCW Group has disclosed the racial diversity of its U.S. staff to comply with a public investor's requirements – and the data shows there are virtually no Black staff members in its top ranks. The majority of TCW's employees are based in the U.S., while around 30 employees work abroad, according to TCW spokesperson Mickey Mandelbaum.

"TCW understands the importance of increasing diversity and that is precisely why the firm is seeking to augment and improve its existing efforts," the statement said."Additionally, TCW already has a number of programs in place — and expects to enhance those relationships — with a wide variety of diversity-focused organizations that are geared specifically towards promoting greater inclusion in the workplace.
