Freeman, who also appeared on “NCIS,” died in November at age 41. The Travis County Medical Examiner’s report revealed he was found unresponsive in his bed.
The “Bones” actor died from an overdose of multiple opioids and narcotics,The Travis County Medical Examiner in Texas told the outlet that Freeman had fentanyl, cocaine, hydrocodone, oxycodone and alprazolam in his system at the time of his death.Page Six has reached out to the Medical Examiner for comment.
The report also stated that Freeman was found unresponsive in his bed after a night of hard partying. It also noted that police found oxycodone and alprazolam pills in his house.“We are truly devastated at the loss of our beloved Heath Freeman. A brilliant human being with an intense and soulful spirit, he leaves us with an indelible imprint in our hearts,” his manager, Joe S. Montifiore,to People at the time.
The statement continued, “He was extremely proud of his recent film work and was very excited for the next chapter of his career. “His remarkable legacy as a son, brother, uncle, friend, extraordinarily gifted actor and producer, consummate cook, and man with the most infectious and spectacular laugh, will live on forever,” Montifiore concluded. “May his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.”
Freeman’s other acting credits included guest spots on “ER,” “Raising the Bar” and “Without a Trace.”
