“Thank you to all of you who prayed for us and loved us during the past 4 ½ months,” the post continued to say. “You helped to give us hope and show us the Glory of God’s great love here on earth even during the darkest of days.” The man who threw Landen, 25-year-old Emmanuel Aranda, pleaded guilty to attempted premeditated first-degree murder and was sentenced to 19 years in prison in June.
He said he had come to the mall a day earlier looking to kill someone, but it didn't"work out." Aranda said he planned to kill an adult but then changed his mind and grabbed the boy.
