The Volunteers next faces Brownsville Rivera in the Region IV-6A semifinals at 5 p.m. Friday at Comalander Stadium. “In terms of momentum, I think that gave us the boost of energy we needed to get that third goal,” Saldana said of the go-ahead score. “I got that , and I just gave it everything to put it in the back of the net. I felt pretty good. It was 3-1 at that point and there was no coming back for them.”“I know any time our team faces anything that we will be able to bounce back,” Keita said.
The Jaguars applied constant pressure in the first 15 minutes and held a 4-1 lead in shots before play evened out until intermission.
