If Brook Park’s applications are ultimately selected during the competitive process, the county’s 2024 municipal grant program could award $150,000, and its county development supplemental grant program could award $50,000.said the cost of the planned playground upgrade is approximately $278,000. That amount includes removal of some of the 30-year-old existing equipment, retaining and updating some of the newer pieces of equipment and then adding other playground apparatus.
“The new feature we think will be liked most by the children is the dual zip lines,” he said. “They will be 53-foot zip lines.
