Brooklyn: Police arrest homeless woman who allegedly stabbed mother pushing stroller
Lequasiah Lawrence was arrested Wednesday for allegedly stabbing a 34-year-old mother, who was pushing a stroller with her 3-year-old inside, in the chest and legs at around 3:30 p.m. while on the corner of Jay Street and Tillary Street.
The incident took place after the pair got into a dispute. Lawrence, according to police, then pulled out a knife and threatened the child. The victim went to protect her 3-year-old and was stabbed–before Lawrence allegedly fled on Jay Street. The mom was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition. The child was not injured.
