The Browns head to Pittsburgh for Monday Night Football.
I think it’s a very real possibility this defense puts up an equally dominating performance on Monday. Kenny Pickett struggled against the 49ers in Week 1 getting sacked five times and throwing two interceptions. Considering San Francisco has a similar pass rush style, I think Cleveland will be able to attack in similar ways.
There’s no sugarcoating it: Pittsburgh has been absolutely dominant at home on Monday nights. They’ve won 20 games in a row dating back to the 90s. Couple that with the fact that the Browns haven’t won in Pittsburgh since Oct. 5, 2003, a 33-13 victory for Cleveland. T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith are a really good pass rushing duo, but Pittsburgh not having Cam Heyward will give Cleveland’s offense a bit of a break. Even if the Steelers edge rushers get to Deshaun Watson, and even if Amari Cooper can’t play, the Browns still have enough talent and depth to make plays happen.
