The Browns have requested permission to interview Steelers defensive assistant and former Dolphins head coach Brian Flores for their defensive coordinator vacancy.
A clash with the Dolphins’ front office resulted in his firing after the 2021 season, and he later filed a class-action suit suit against the NFL, the Giants, the Broncos and Dolphins for racial discrimination in their hiring practices of minority coaches and personnel executives.
Amid the suit, the Steelers named Flores as their senior defensive assistant/linebackers before this season.Stefanski and Browns GM Andrew Berry will address the media on Monday afternoon.
