Buc-ee’s to start construction in Hillsboro
Buc-ee's opened its first North Texas store in Terrell in 2015. New retail development expanded around the property. Construction on the store located about 60 miles south of Dallas in Hill County will begin Jan. 24, and it’s expected to open in mid-2024, according to a Buc-ee’s spokeswoman. The store will have 120 fuel pumps and will employ 200 people.has been working on a Hillsboro store for some time. At the beginning of last year, it was trying to get approval from the city to erect a sign that was 125 feet tall, 25 feet taller than the city allowed.
