California’s Supreme Court has struck down a law passed this summer that would have required President Trump and other presidential candidates to release their tax returns in order to appear on California’s primary ballot
The tax requirement conflicts with the state constitution’s mandate that the presidential primary ballot in California be open and inclusive of recognized candidates, the state’s highest court ruled Thursday.
