A man was arrested on a drug charge in California yesterday after he was spotted trying to fix flat tires on his car with a variety of adhesive bandages, police say.

When deputies arrived at the scene they noticed both of the driver's side tires were flat. and medical gauze—typically used to dress wounds—had been stuffed inside a gap in the rubber of the rear right tire.
