California wildfires trigger statewide emergency and force nearly 200,000 people to evacuate.

Extremely low humidity was helping the fire spread, said a National Weather Service official, who said at a news conference Sunday morning that the winds seemed to be at their peak and should subside soon.

The Kincade fire, which began Wednesday, prompted the largest evacuation in the history of Sonoma County in California's wine country, NBC Bay Area reported. Nearly 90,000 people were evacuated Saturday, as the fire jumped over highways and roads jammed with people trying to flee. About 200,000 people were under evacuation warnings from the Kincade fire on Sunday, according to the governor's office.

Fire encroaching the highway on 128, both sides, in Sonoma Co. in Healdsburg. Major wind gusts kicking up and and trees and power lines down everywhere. Updates to come
